Dear Friends,

Our current season, The Nature of Things, is inspired by the beauty and intricacy of nature, as well as our human connection to it (biophilia). In this spirit, we are asking you to help us celebrate 38 years of The Movement Source by giving $38 and getting your name on a leaf on our tree! Your gift will help us reach our final goal of $3800 to match our grants this year.

Whether you give $38 (one leaf), $76 (two leaves), or $380 (ten leaves!), your donation:

  • Supports local dance, music, artists and nature throughout our season

  • Furthers our guiDANCE mentorships that match high school dancers with professionals

  • Ensures our Educational Outreach programs continue bringing dance into schools

  • Displays your or your company’s name on a leaf on our tree for every $38 you give - donate $380 and get 10 leaves!

At The Movement Source, we create new work each season by bringing in renowned guest artists, choreographers, and collaborators. This season, we are thrilled to be presenting work from Choreographer Jordan Kriston from OR, Choreographer Li Chiao-Ping from WI, Local Visual Artist Mary Meyer, and Local Musicians The SunPunchers.

Giving opens on October 1st and will close on November 14th with a celebration at our community performance at Clark Park in Tempe. Get your leaf today! Though each leaf is a gift of $38, we are grateful for any amount you can give.

We look forward to dancing for you at our next show. We are grateful for your support of The Movement Source!

Sincerely,

Mary Anne Fernandez-Herding, Founder and Artistic Director
